The return of IR35 – Is your organisation ready?
The return of IR35 – Is your organisation ready?
11 February 2021
The IR35 rules that were postponed from April 2020, will be implemented in April 2021.
This change will make medium and large businesses responsible for determining the tax status of contractors.
And IR35 is not the only thing to consider. Legislative changes in 2020 added new requirements for issuing written statements of employment, made changes to the calculation of holiday pay and also made changes to agency worker rules.
If that’s not enough – there has also been a spate of court cases concerning companies incorrectly labelling people as self-employed contractors, instead of being workers.
Now is the time to act.
Audit
Our Audit programme will help to identify IR35 and worker status concerns and advise on any changes that need to be made.
